Preparing for a tribunal hearing, in plain English
What the day is like, who will be there and what to bring, for clients who have never been to a hearing.

Clients often tell me the waiting was worse than the hearing. Knowing what to expect helps.
Before the day
Read your own statement again. Bring the documents your representative asks for, and a list of anything you want to raise.
On the day
Arrive early. Answer the questions you are asked, in your own words, and say so if you do not understand one.
Afterwards
A decision usually comes later, in writing. Your representative will explain it with you.
